On December 31st, 1983, our family planted a flag at the Marigot Beach building on 100th Street — and never looked back. Forty-plus years later, we remain the building's longest-standing owners and that legacy has continued with our sons both buying units in this building as well as our sister. We welcome your family here to share our home and make incredible memories just as we have.
Unit 210 was chosen with intention. We didn't want heights — we wanted the ocean at eye level, elevated perfectly over the protective dunes. Before we bought our unit we carried an old linen chair and put it on each floor to settle on the perfect eye level view of the ocean. Well above the dunes and families on the beach. Perfect to listen to the waves crashing in a way you just can't hear on the higher floors at all.
When you rent you don't think about the little details but as the 10th unit northward we sit well away from the busy outdoor deck and bustling traffic of the showers and entryway to the beach. Here you can focus on listening to the waves crashing, the birds, and sometimes a little weekend vibe of quiet relaxing music from the hotel next door. You may even watch a wedding unfold on the beach at sunset right in front of you!
The amenities are also great. We have one of the largest indoor pools in Ocean City and you have access to the full bar and kitchens of the Ashore Hotel next door. Walk over and grab a drink or food and head back to the beach to soak up more fun. All of this is available to you.
The inside of the residence was designed with deliberate thought as well. The furniture is high-end Ethan Allen. The blinds are custom blackouts to allow you to sleep in with total darkness or open them to feel the rays of the sun on your face in the morning. We picked our unit between the elevator and stairs to give you choice but also not directly near congregating people waiting on the elevator making noise or fuss. You'll appreciate that late at night! Additionally, as the first owner in the building we got to pick our parking spots. The main one is… row 1… spot 1. You won't be carrying anything very far!
